The organic farms are located at an average elevation of 1200 meters on the majestic Western Ghats mountain range. The Western Ghats, identified as one of the 18 biodiversity hotspots of the world, is a treasure trove swarming with the rich bounties of nature. The hills offer a kaleidoscopic vision of nature full of vibrant colors, exotic spice plantations and lush wilderness – certain to enthrall and captivate spectators. This great mountain range intercepts the rain-bearing west monsoon clouds and hence gets abundant rainfall, making the land ideal for cultivation. The dense tropical forests of the area also help to harvest rain. The average rainfall in the area ranges from 3000 – 4000 mm. The spices harvested from the organic farms are stored in a state government warehouse constructed according to the EU specifications and standards.
